About This Site

The reason I chose the song 'Ordinary Miracle' by Sarah McLachlan for my site is because when I look around me at the beauty in this world, I can't help but be grateful to God for the miracles around us.There is beauty in the most pure and simple places. Sometimes it is obvious and sometimes we have to seek it out.
Beauty truly IS in the eye of the beholder. I am grateful for the beauty that I see in the world we live in.
My hope is that I can portray to others the beauty that I behold in the world around me.

About Me

I am Leslie. I am a 32 year old girl who has tried to seek out beauty in the chaotic world around me. I recently lost the love of my life, Aaron. He was taken from this world without warning, which has left us devastated and scrambling as we try to figure out life once again.

I believe in God and that He loves us and is aware of each of us individually. It brings peace to my soul to know that God has a plan for us and that we will see Aaron again someday. I am putting my hand in the Lord's hand as I try to continue to carry on and move forward.

Aaron and I have a son, Aaron Jr., who now brings more joy and beauty to my life than words can even express. He is a sweet little boy who is tender hearted and is fully aware of the feelings of people around him. I adore him and my life now revolves around him and doing what I need to do to take care of him.

I am surrounded by family and friends who love me and who have helped to shape the person that I have become. We are molded by our experiences and how we choose to react to them and continue on. I hope to look back at this time in my life and see a lot of personal growth and strength.

I have always had a love for photography. It has always been a hobby of mine. It was only through this tragedy that I have chosen to turn my hobby into a way of taking care of my family. I have always appreciated the beauty that other photographers capture. I love the challenge of capturing in a photo the beauty that I see with my own eyes, so that others can experience it as well.
